Our Finance team keeps the business side of Octopi and Asahi as sharp as our production side - and the Staff Accountant plays a key role in keeping our books accurate, audit-ready, and on time.THE OPPORTUNITYWe're looking for a Staff Accountant to support our accounting and financial reporting functions - from journal entries and reconciliations to month-end close - helping keep our financial information accurate and reliable as we continue to grow.WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE GREAT• Broad exposure across the full accounting cycle - GL, AP/AR, reconciliations, close, and reporting - not just one narrow lane• A direct line to the Controller, with real visibility into how the business runs financially• A strong foundation role for building a long-term accounting career, especially as we continue to growWHAT YOU'LL DO• Prepare and post journal entries, and maintain and investigate general ledger account activity• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close• Process and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and company bank deposits• Support preparation of financial statements and management reports• File and monitor tax reporting requirements, and maintain audit-ready accounting records• Track purchase orders and reconcile company credit card accountsWHAT YOU BRINGMust-haves:• 1-3 years of accounting experience preferred• 2-year accounting or business degree with 1-2 years of related experience, or a 4-year accounting degree• Working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detailNice-to-haves:• Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes• Experience supporting fixed asset accountingBENEFITS & PERKS• Medical, dental, and vision coverage - effective the 1st of the month after 30 days• Company-paid life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance• 401(k) with company match - 100% up to 3%, 50% on the next 2%• 120 hours of PTO annually, with accrual that grows the longer you're here• 9 paid holidays (if they fall on your scheduled workday)• A free beer after shift, because you earned itPAY• Pay: $60,000-$65,000 annually Full-time, exempt Requirements: Compensation details: 0 Yearly SalaryPI9b3ed9d5-
