Overview

L3Harris Technologies is looking for a Sr Specialist, Manufacturing Execution System Project Lead to join their manufacturing engineering team in Waterdown, Ontario. This new role involves leading projects aimed at optimizing manufacturing processes and improving production goals, utilizing project management methodologies and data analytics.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead projects within the manufacturing engineering team using project management tools
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies
  • Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders and management
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Manage IT-related projects to enhance the Manufacturing Enterprise System (MES)
  • Analyze operations sequence and material flow to guide teams for improvements
  • Leverage data analytics to identify strategies for achieving production goals
  • Collaborate on automation initiatives to enhance efficiency
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis
  • Maintain the MES Product Roadmap and communicate vision to stakeholders
  • Lead technical investigations and resolutions of MES issues
