Overview

The Sr. Specialist, Business Intelligence Analyst at L3Harris Technologies plays a crucial role in driving a data-centric culture within the organization. This position involves collaboration across multiple teams to develop and implement strategic performance indicators and dashboards that inform decision-making for various Canadian divisions. The analyst will act as an ambassador of business intelligence, transforming data into actionable insights to support internal customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with senior leadership to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Create dashboards and data strategies for internal teams and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators to measure business decision effectiveness
  • Structure large data sets to find usable information
  • Process information in collaboration with a team of analysts
  • Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings

Required skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Power BI
  • Proficiency in SQL and Power Query languages
  • Experience with data extraction, transformation and load (ETL) using SSIS and OLAP cubes
  • Ability to analyze and model business needs
  • Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written)
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment and prioritize business requests
  • Experience with AI-driven analytics tools and preparing data models for AI ingestion
  • Experience interfacing with customers and working in large enterprises
  • Experience in the aerospace and defense industry
