This team also manages technology operations in Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific.Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Content Platform Data Engineering team, focusing on building and enhancing platform capabilities with a strong emphasis on supporting our existing Datawarehouse.As a Senior Software Engineer, you will build scalable, reliable, and high-performance data pipelines and data models that enable analytics, downstream applications, operational workflows, and visualizations. You will work closely with product managers, software engineers, data consumers, and cross-functional partners to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and aligned with business needs across Disney's direct-to-consumer lines of business.You will work closely with an existing team working on expanding Disney's internal capability set. Leveraging software engineering principles and cloud infrastructure, you will build robust, extensible services that drive autonomous workflows at scale.Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:Write and Maintain Software Solutions: Design, write, test, and deploy high-quality code to develop reliable, maintainable data solutions.Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with platform engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to ensure technical solutions effectively support business goals and content strategies.Production Support: Monitor and optimize production systems, ensuring platform stability, performance, and uptime.Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training: Basic Qualifications 5+ years of relevant industry experience in data engineering or architecture.Proven track record of building and supporting production data pipelines and data platforms.Extensive experience with event streaming systems (e.g., Kafka) and data store technologies like Snowflake and Databricks.Proficiency with ETL/ELT pipelines and orchestration tools such as AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, and Apache Airflow.Deep understanding of data modeling concepts and robust SQL development.Expertise in designing scalable, cost-effective cloud architect
