Our client is a well-established contract manufacturer producing a range of electro-mechanical assemblies including but not exclusive to sub-fractional horsepower motors, wire-harnesses, plastics, metals, and PCBs. They have facilities in Wisconsin and China and are seeking an experience Sr. Sales Engineer to drive sales growth. This role requires a deep understanding of the manufacturing landscape, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record increasing OEM and business to business sales (link removed) You will report to the president of the company. Benefits: 2% commission on all sales for the life of the contract ($40K to $50K within a couple of years is realistic, with much greater growth beyond that) and first year $10,000 incentive to fill in during ramp up period. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape, adjusting strategies accordingly. Collaboration: Work closely with production, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution of client projects. Reporting: Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to senior management. What they are looking for: 2+ years of contract sales to OEM / business to business of electro-mechanical assemblies that can include small motors, wire-harnesses, plastics, metals, and PCBs Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with customers (i.e. call instead of email, and get out and visit prospects) Self-motivated and able to find and exploit the market, with excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. The greater your technical skills and academics the better. An engineering degree would be excellent. 30% to 50% travel will be needed nationally and the balance of your time working from either home or at the office.
