Overview

Raytheon is seeking a Senior RF Product Engineer to join their Tucson, Arizona team. This role involves supporting the development of complex Radio Frequency (RF) products and radar systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while collaborating closely with project management and technical teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Organize and lead a development team for RF hardware including transmitter, receiver, and radar subsystems.
  • Ensure technical performance, cost, and schedule alignment.
  • Provide technical management and oversight of suppliers.
  • Collaborate with project management and multidisciplinary teams to deliver RF solutions.

Required skills

  • Degree in STEM field and 5 years of relevant experience or advanced degree and 3 years of experience.
  • Experience in product team leadership, project task definition and cost & schedule tracking.
  • Proficiency in RF/Radar hardware development, including requirements development and validation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interface with government customers and agencies.
  • Experience managing engineering projects from conception to production.
