Job Description

Overview

As a Senior Reliability Product Manager at Amazon Data Services, you'll lead efforts in enhancing product reliability and supplier management through the development of internal tools aimed at automating key metrics and improving quality tracking. You'll join a diverse team of engineers and specialists, contributing to the AWS Infrastructure Services, which maintains the cloud infrastructure for customers globally.

Key responsibilities

  • Collect product requirements for key reliability and quality metrics
  • Develop Page 0 metrics for products supported by IRQ
  • Create tooling and tracking mechanisms with partner teams
  • Manage supplier qualification requests for Long Lead Equipment (LLEs)
  • Implement a tracking system for supplier evaluations
  • Develop a tracking system for Tier 2 components
  • Estimate Tier 2 component lifespan to guide maintenance decisions

Required skills

  • 5+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 5+ years of mission-critical facilities experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, product marketing, or business development
  • Experience in roadmap strategy and definition
  • 7+ years in product, program, and/or technical leadership in data center infrastructure
  • Experience in writing business requirement documents for new products
