Overview

The Sr. Recruiter at Jabil Circuit, Inc. is responsible for executing high-volume recruitment strategies to meet the operational workforce needs for their new facility in Prince George, Virginia. This role will involve full-cycle recruitment for direct labor roles, partnering with various teams to ensure alignment with hiring plans and production requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute high-volume recruiting strategies for new business growth and workforce ramp requirements
  • Partner with Operations, HR, and Workforce Planning teams to identify staffing needs and timelines
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting activities including sourcing, screening, and interview coordination
  • Develop and maintain candidate pipelines for large-scale hiring initiatives
  • Utilize multiple sourcing channels to attract qualified candidates
  • Coordinate hiring events, job fairs, and community outreach to drive candidate flow
  • Track and report recruiting progress against hiring plans and metrics
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Support new hire onboarding and orientation scheduling
  • Maintain accurate candidate data within applicant tracking systems
  • Participate in workforce ramp readiness meetings and hiring status updates
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting efficiency and processes

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related discipline preferred
  • 3-5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in high-volume or manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (preferably Workday)
  • Understanding of high-volume recruiting practices
  • Experience with hiring event coordination and community recruiting strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management capabilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with aggressive timelines
  • Collaboration skills with HR, operations, and leadership teams
