Job Description

Overview

The Sr Radiology Technologist at Van Wert Hospital will work part-time, 24 hours a week, preparing patients for various examinations and performing diagnostic radiology procedures in accordance with OhioHealth and ARRT standards. This role requires proficiency in multiple imaging modalities including diagnostics, CT, MR, US, Dexa, or Mammo.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct routine radiographic studies in diagnostics
  • Perform routine and specialized fluoroscopic studies using digital fluoroscope equipment
  • Ensure radiation safety for the operator and patient
  • Position patients correctly for procedures
  • Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in all job duties

Required skills

  • Multi-modality trained and/or certified in diagnostics, CT, MR, US, Dexa, or Mammo
  • Proficiency in radiation safety practices
  • Registered with ARRT
  • Licensed to practice in the State of Ohio
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program
