Overview

The Sr Rad Tech at OhioHealth is responsible for preparing patients and performing diagnostic radiology procedures in multiple modalities including diagnostics, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Mammography. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency in delivering care, in alignment with OhioHealth's commitment to health and wellness.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct routine radiographic studies in diagnostics
  • Perform specialized fluoroscopic studies using digital fluoroscope equipment
  • Ensure radiation safety for operators and patients
  • Position patients correctly for procedures according to department policy

Required skills

  • ARRT certification
  • Licensed to practice in Ohio
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program
  • Multi-modality training or certification in diagnostics, CT, MR, US, Dexa, or Mammo
