Job Description

Overview

Ekman Associates is seeking a Sr. Product Security Engineer to strengthen the security posture of digital applications with a focus on safeguarding artificial intelligence technologies. The role involves detecting and mitigating AI-related security threats and enhancing the security of the AI development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

  • Establish and execute multi-year roadmaps to improve AI security
  • Conduct security evaluations and drive remediation of findings in AI systems
  • Embed automated security checks into the AI Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and ML-Ops
  • Model threats for complex AI systems and collaborate on security requirements
  • Review code for security issues specific to AI-driven applications
  • Provide leadership for AI security policies and collaborate with technology risk teams
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for AI incidents and assist in developing response playbooks
  • Help establish an AI Center of Excellence (ACE)

Required skills

  • 10+ years in product security, application security, or DevSecOps
  • Strong knowledge of security risks associated with LLMs and AI Agents
  • 5+ years of experience automating security checks in CI/CD pipelines
  • Extensive experience with threat modeling frameworks like STRIDE
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Containers, CI/CD, and Cloud Service Providers
  • Knowledge of AI platform components including API gateways and model orchestration tools
