Overview

Pacific Life is seeking a Senior Product Development Specialist to join its Workforce Benefits team, focusing on group Life/AD&D and Disability products. This role, operating in a hybrid environment, involves collaboration across various departments to streamline product delivery and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps
  • Support the management and optimization of group Life/AD&D and Disability products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including actuarial, underwriting, legal, and technology
  • Analyze product performance and conduct competitive benchmarking
  • Implement process enhancements and monitor regulatory compliance
  • Support existing and future value-add programs for assigned products

Required skills

  • 5-7+ years' experience in group insurance products, particularly Life/AD&D and STD & LTD
  • Experience with regulatory compliance and product filings
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management abilities
  • Strategic thinking with a record of innovation
  • Knowledge of absence management and other group insurance products
