Overview

Pacific Life is seeking a Senior Product Development Specialist to join their Product Solutions team. This role is pivotal in developing product strategies for group Life/AD&D and Disability products, driving key product development activities, and ensuring compliance with evolving regulations. The position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize product lifecycle management and to meet customer needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps aligned with organizational goals.
  • Support ongoing management and optimization of group Life/AD&D and Disability products.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to deliver solutions and improve product delivery.
  • Analyze product performance and conduct competitive benchmarking.
  • Implement process enhancements for efficiency and quality.
  • Support existing and future value-add programs for assigned products.

Required skills

  • 5-7+ years of experience in group insurance products, specifically Life/AD&D and STD & LTD.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance and product filings.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and a record of delivering results.
