Job Description

Overview

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Principal RF Hardware Technical Subcontract Manager to support their Apertures and RF Team in Aurora, Colorado. This role involves managing technical subcontracts for RF hardware projects and contributing to satellite ground terminal systems with a focus on requirement analysis, design reviews, and operational support.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead technical subcontract management for RF hardware projects
  • Develop and manage resource-loaded schedules and performance reporting
  • Provide briefings to program leadership and customers on project status and risks
  • Support design and architecture of satellite ground terminal hardware
  • Conduct requirement analysis, trade studies, and design reviews
  • Interface with suppliers and manage procurement activities
  • Support integration, testing, fielding, and hardware refresh efforts
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience or Advanced degree and 8 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with satellite ground station architecture and design
  • Familiarity with antenna system requirements and performance metrics
  • Experience with supply chain and procurement processes
  • Proficiency in SAP/PRISM or similar enterprise systems
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)
  • Ability to obtain EVMS and TSM certifications within 6 months of hire
  • Understanding of reflector systems and amplifier technologies
  • Experience managing multiple projects
  • Ability to analyze cost and pricing data
