Overview

The Senior Medical Science Liaison (Sr MSL) role at Disability Solutions involves working as part of a field-based team to enhance professional relationships with medical thought leaders in the neurology and epilepsy therapeutic areas. This position focuses on providing medical information, clinical support, and participating in territory planning aligned with Medical Affairs initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and develop relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare providers
  • Collaborate with various functions to maximize territory opportunities
  • Provide scientific and clinical support for products to formulary committees and payers
  • Participate in medical education and presentations for healthcare professionals
  • Act as a primary liaison to investigators for investigator-initiated trials
  • Monitor research and oversee milestone requirements for clinical studies
  • Support patient enrollment in clinical trials through collaboration with medical affairs

Required skills

  • MS degree in scientific or medical discipline; MD, PharmD, or PhD preferred
  • Experience as a Medical Science Liaison, particularly in epilepsy and cannabinoid science
  • Strong scientific and pharmaceutical knowledge
  • Excellent presentation and teaching skills
  • Current knowledge of US legal, regulatory, and compliance guidelines
  • Strong abilities with digital platforms and tools
  • Willingness to travel 60-80% of the time
  • Valid driver's license
