Overview

The Sr. Medical Editor at Syneos Health is responsible for ensuring that regulatory documents meet industry standards and sponsor requirements. This role involves quality control, project management, and collaboration with medical writing and project teams to deliver accurate and compliant documentation.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain familiarity with FDA, EU, and other relevant guidelines.
  • Perform QC review of various clinical documents.
  • Verify data accuracy and formatting in documents.
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets, updating stakeholders as needed.
  • Provide technical support and mentorship to medical editing staff.
  • Advise on quality review and editorial standards.
  • Lead complex medical writing projects, coordinating team efforts.
  • Copyedit assigned documents according to style guidelines.
  • Contribute to process improvement tools and policies.
  • Manage projects in accordance with operating procedures.
