Overview

The Sr. Mechanical Product Manager-Tech position at AWS focuses on leading the Technical Product Management for innovative Mechanical Cooling and Controls systems within Data Center Engineering. The role involves collaborating with a diverse team to develop strategies and roadmaps to deliver world-class products for AWS data centers, ensuring they are production-ready for global deployment.

Key responsibilities

  • Build strategic plans for new Mechanical Solutions and methods
  • Develop Product Roadmaps
  • Understand and explain complex systems in clear language
  • Build trust with stakeholders across various departments
  • Work on concurrent projects across multiple geographic zones
  • Listen to customer needs to understand technical and business requirements
  • Collaborate with global suppliers and manufacturers to design new products
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts at a global scale
  • Review, update, and approve equipment submittals

Required skills

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 7+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5+ years of water treatment experience
  • 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
  • Experience with roadmap strategy and definition
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Experience with cooling technology and industrial water treatment
