Job Description

Overview

The Senior Material Handler at bioMérieux is responsible for shipping, material movement, and receiving duties while ensuring inventory levels are accurate. This role plays a crucial part in supporting internal and external customers and aligns with the manufacturing, supply chain, and quality goals of the organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Pulls and packs product orders for accuracy and efficiency
  • Receives and processes products from manufacturing or suppliers
  • Stocks products while maintaining 5S and inventory accuracy
  • Counts physical inventory of raw materials and finished goods
  • Processes required paperwork for departmental activities
  • Maintains warehouse areas according to 5S principles
  • Ensures compliance with cGMP, ISO, and FDA guidelines
  • Provides training to others within the department
  • Identifies areas for improvement to maximize accuracy
  • Performs work in compliance with company quality procedures

Required skills

  • High school diploma
  • 1+ years of warehouse experience
  • Knowledge of Kaizen and 5S principles
  • Experience with shipping and receiving processes
  • Warehouse operations knowledge
  • Inventory management skills
