Job Description

Overview

The Senior Material Handler at bioMerieux is responsible for shipping, material movement, and receiving duties, with a critical impact on the Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality objectives of the company. This role includes maintaining inventory accuracy and adhering to safety and quality standards within the warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Pull and pack product orders to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Check lot numbers and prepare carrier documents
  • Receive and process products from manufacturing or suppliers
  • Stock products after approval while maintaining 5S and safety
  • Count physical inventory of all raw materials and finished goods
  • Process paperwork for material transactions
  • Maintain warehouse and work areas following 5S principles
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP, ISO, and FDA guidelines
  • Provide training to other department members
  • Identify areas for improvement to maximize accuracy and minimize errors
