Overview

MI Windows and Doors is looking for a Sr. Manager of Human Resources at their Temecula, California facility. This leader will play a crucial role in shaping HR strategies, mentoring the HR team, and aligning people initiatives with business goals to enhance employee engagement and performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as an active member of the plant leadership team
  • Act as a consultative HR Business Partner to senior and line leaders
  • Lead and deploy HR strategic initiatives aligned with business objectives
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the on-site HR team
  • Advocate for team member engagement and positive culture
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring strategies
  • Coach leaders on performance management and employee relations
  • Manage complex employee relations matters professionally
  • Oversee workers' compensation case management and OSHA compliance
  • Analyze workforce trends and data to inform decision making
  • Lead change initiatives with clear communication

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • 10+ years of HR Generalist/HR Manager experience in manufacturing
  • Experience leading and developing an HR team
  • Strong business acumen and influencing skills
  • Broad HR expertise across various functions
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
