Job Description

Overview

The Sr. Manager, Global Demand Planning at Vantive acts as an enterprise expert and leader for global demand management, focusing on process consistency, integration with supply planning, and improving forecast quality. This role involves coaching planners, overseeing demand planning operations, and leveraging technology and analytics to enhance planning maturity and decision-making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and improve global demand management policies and tools
  • Lead global demand process governance and ensure data integrity
  • Coach and mentor demand forecasters and planners
  • Coordinate the global demand planning cycle and maintain timely handoffs
  • Develop and run centralized statistical forecast models
  • Support scenario modeling and risk assessments for planning
  • Serve as demand management subject matter expert for systems
  • Lead initiatives for automation and advanced analytics in planning

Required skills

  • BA/BS in business, supply chain, engineering, analytics, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning or supply planning
  • 3+ years of experience leading planning process improvements
  • Strong knowledge of SIOP processes
  • Advanced analytical capability and experience with statistical modeling
  • Hands-on expertise with advanced planning platforms and AI tools
  • Proficient with MS Office, ERP systems, and analytics tools
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
