Overview

The Sr. Manager of Applied Science for the Alexa Connections team at Amazon will lead efforts in developing innovative, LLM-powered communication features to enhance user experiences. This role involves driving applied science projects from ideation to execution while fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation within the team.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead a team of scientists in applied science projects
  • Establish long-term vision for scientific innovation and strategic goals
  • Identify and implement best-in-class algorithms and methodologies
  • Conduct deep analyses on user and contextual data sets
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ML models and LLMs
