Role and Responsibilities Summary: Responsible for performing all work on-site assigned such as trim carpentry, painting, rough framing carpentry, drywall work, cleaning, and material manipulation. Technicians are responsible for all on-site labor and completing assigned tasks in a timely manner. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Performs all assigned carpentry tasks including trim work, door hanging, base installation and mitering, casing installation, and cutting materials to specific measurements. Must be able to operate power tools and table saws in a proper and safe manner. Must be able to deliver materials to site in a company owned vehicle. Works directly project managers to ensure tasks on-site are done in a correct and timely manner. Shows compassion with property owners and project payees when dealing with their loss. Ability to complete all painting tasks such as texturing, spray nozzle knowledge, and roll-on paint experience. Ability to install dry wall, tape and mud seams, sand drywall for a presentable finish, and feather drywall into existing walls. Has knowledge of stain matching process and can stain given materials with proper technique. Demonstrates proficiencies in the knowledge of general construction and property damage restoration means and methods. Rotates through a board-up on-call schedule taking leadership when called out to emergency situations. Takes instruction from assigned manager and communicates with them on a regular basis. Performs other tasks as assigned. Display Leadership Ability Reflected in Team Meeting Sales/Volume Goals 2+ Quarters per FY Have customer service scores averaging over 8.5 Required training: OSHA 30, Fall Protection Training, IICRC Training, Forklift/Telehandler certification T-3: 10 years' experience as a RCN Technician Perform Duties and Responsibilities of T-2 Job Code Specialty in handling complex custom carpentry or painting tasks. Ability to train less-tenured technicians on certain tasks such as carpentry, painting, dry walling, etc. Ability to lead a crew on-site with little supervision from project manager. Ability to advise project manager on specific tasks and materials. Have Team customer service scores averaging over 9.0 Suggested training: Rapport Leadership Breakthrough, Painting and Carpentry Trades certification, painting technique training, IICRC Master Training, and continuing education.
