Overview

The Surefire Group is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sr. Escrow Officer to join their fast-growing Title Division in Mcallen, Texas. This role involves managing and closing residential and commercial title transactions while providing exceptional support to clients, agents, and lenders, all within a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and close a pipeline of residential and commercial title transactions from open to funding
  • Interpret and execute buyer, seller, and lender instructions with precision
  • Order and review title commitments, clear title issues, and prepare title and escrow documents
  • Coordinate and conduct seamless closings, including final disbursements and recordings
  • Provide a top-tier experience for clients, agents, lenders, and partners
  • Act as a trusted resource to Realtors and loan officers
  • Attend and engage in in-house agent events, trainings, and outreach
  • Build and grow a loyal network of real estate professionals
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations

Required skills

  • 5+ years of escrow/title experience
  • Licensed Escrow Officer in TX
  • Strong grasp of the full closing process
  • Natural leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple files and people effectively
  • Comfortable communicating with Realtors and lenders
  • Tech-savvy with title software systems (e.g., Qualia certification, GSuite, GMail)
  • Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
  • Notary Public certification
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
  • Experience launching title operations in new markets is a plus
