Overview

As a Sr. Escrow Officer at Safeguard Escrow Inc, you will be the primary point of contact managing the full pipeline of escrow files, ensuring compliance with DFPI regulations and best practices. You will work closely with lenders, agents, buyers, and sellers to facilitate smooth transactions while also overseeing the operations and guiding an escrow assistant.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the escrow process from opening to closing
  • Review contracts and financial documents for accuracy
  • Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, and clients to ensure smooth transactions
  • Verify loan documentation for accuracy
  • Allocate files and manage capacity; prioritize opening and status updates
  • Follow closing checklists and quality controls to minimize errors
  • Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions on defects and funding delays
  • Oversee vendor management including notaries and couriers
  • Maintain an enterprise risk view for escrow operations
  • Ensure data privacy and secure document handling
