Job Description

Overview

The Senior Director of Advancement Services at SBP will provide strategic leadership and oversight for all advancement operations, enhancing the organization’s fundraising capabilities and ensuring effective systems support. This role involves collaborating with various departments, leading a team, and optimizing CRM processes to strengthen donor engagement and organizational decision-making.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee advancement operations including donor and grant administration and CRM governance.
  • Serve as the organizational lead for Salesforce strategy and optimization.
  • Develop operational policies and workflows to enhance efficiency and collaboration across departments.
  • Supervise Advancement Services staff and foster a data-informed team culture.
  • Support frontline fundraisers through strategic partnership and moves management.
  • Provide fundraising analytics and real-time dashboards for performance tracking.
  • Oversee donor engagement operations and stewardship activities.
  • Coordinate proposal development and impact reporting for institutional fundraising.
  • Lead fundraising analytics, including KPI dashboards and pipeline reporting.
  • Translate fundraising activities into strategic insights for leadership and stakeholders.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years in development or related leadership roles.
  • At least 3 years managing high-performing teams.
  • Hands-on experience with CRMs like Salesforce or Raiser's Edge.
  • Exceptional communication skills for conveying complex issues.
  • Strong strategic and analytical planning skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and IRS regulations.
  • Ability to pass mandatory background checks.

What the company offers

  • Salary range of $110,000 - $155,000.
