Overview

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Delivery Consultant to join their Professional Services (ProServe) team. This role involves working closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that align with their business objectives, while providing technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle. The consultant will leverage their expertise in AWS products to facilitate enterprise cloud adoption and ensure customer success.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
  • 5+ years of experience with software development lifecycle from conception to delivery
  • 3+ years of scripting language or software development experience
  • Current active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Experience communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
  • AWS Professional level certification or Associate's degree or above
  • Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR
  • Proficiency in AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation
  • Experience with automation and scripting tools such as Terraform and Python
