Job Description

Overview

The Senior Credit Analyst at Ace Hardware Corporation supports US retail partners through advanced financial statement analysis, underwriting credit and loan applications, and managing collections for a diverse domestic account portfolio. This role is crucial in identifying and mitigating credit risk while collaborating closely with Sales, Operations, and Legal teams. It requires a hybrid work schedule with 4 days on-site in Oak Brook, IL.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyze and decision US based Member Applications within assigned credit authority
  • Underwrite Retailer Loan Applications according to company credit policies
  • Establish and manage credit limits based on risk profiles and financial performance
  • Review blocked retailer orders consistent with risk guidelines
  • Develop payment plans and resolve past due balances in partnership with retailers
  • Manage an assigned portfolio of domestic retailer accounts

Required skills

  • 4+ years of credit analysis experience
  • Experience analyzing US GAAP financial statements
  • Portfolio management including credit limits and collections support
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with SAP or comparable ERP systems
  • Excel proficiency
