Job Description

Overview

The Sr Construction Representative for MDLI Services, Inc. will support asset integrity projects across various oil and gas sectors, focusing on day-to-day oversight of contractor activities. This includes planning, coordination, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards during construction operations in the Midland Basin and Delaware Basin Areas.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage safe work requirements and ensure compliance with Chevron's Control of Work Standards
  • Draft work permits and plans, verifying all permit conditions
  • Coordinate work schedules with Asset Integrity Planners and report execution status
  • Approve and track daily field costs
  • Communicate and coordinate with Field Operations Team for project execution
  • Order necessary resources and manage logistics for field activities
  • Accept completed work and coordinate resources for hydro testing
  • Promote safety and risk mitigation on construction sites

Required skills

  • Experience in construction oversight within the oil and gas industry
  • Knowledge of API standards (API 570, API 510, API 653, API 12R1)
  • Proficiency in construction drawings, P&IDs, and safety management systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with safety protocols and leadership in construction settings
  • Proficiency in Office 365, SharePoint, and collaboration tools
