Job Description

Overview

The Sr Construction Representative will oversee asset integrity projects related to oil and gas operations within MCBU's regions, specifically focusing on contractor activities for NDE inspections, tank maintenance, and chemical treatment programs. This role demands strong leadership and communication skills as it involves ensuring compliance with safety and construction standards while coordinating multiple teams and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage safe work requirements and complete necessary training
  • Draft and verify work permits and plans with PMCoW
  • Coordinate work schedules with Asset Integrity Planners
  • Report HSE incidents and input daily field costs
  • Coordinate with Field Operations Team and manage tank operations
  • Develop Equipment Isolation Plans (EIPs)
  • Order necessary resources and approve field tickets
  • Ensure execution of construction standards on site
  • Mentor contractors and maintain a positive team environment

Required skills

  • Experience in oil and gas industry
  • Knowledge of API standards (API 570, API 510, API 653, API 12R1)
  • Strong safety focus and leadership skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and contracts
  • Proficiency in project management and supervision
  • Experience with MS Office 365, SharePoint, and OneNote
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
