Job Description

Overview

As a Senior Construction Manager for AWS, you will oversee the construction and management of Data Centers, ensuring they are built to the highest standards of quality, cost-effectiveness, and energy efficiency. You will collaborate with a diverse team and assume leadership responsibilities to drive success in various construction projects while adhering to numerous regulatory codes.

Key responsibilities

  • Interface with construction general contractors during bidding, award, execution, and project closeout phases
  • Conduct negotiations with contractors and evaluate bids with detail and accuracy
  • Create project scope and request for proposals
  • Perform financial analysis of construction projects
  • Manage construction project quality control and documentation
  • Record and report key construction metrics
  • Drive troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for equipment failures
  • Define system-level architecture and maintain project documentation
