Overview

The Senior Community Manager at Wallick Communities plays a critical role in providing affordable housing and fostering a supportive environment for residents. This full-time position requires exceptional leadership skills to ensure a high level of engagement among staff and a positive living experience for residents.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead a team of leasing agents and maintenance professionals.
  • Process community staff payroll.
  • Ensure timely collection of rent and deposit of all due monies.
  • Maintain occupancy levels at a minimum of 98%.
  • Develop positive relationships with community owners and residents.
  • Conduct inspections and audits of resident files.
  • Complete required reports for regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain community standards and handle operational duties.

Required skills

  • 1+ year experience as a residential property manager or 3 years in a general manager role.
  • HUD/Section 8 experience is a plus.
  • High School diploma or associate's degree preferred.
  • Commitment to exceptional resident service.
  • Strong attention to detail and compliance skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with Yardi is a plus.
  • Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
