Overview

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst position at CoxHealth focuses on providing actionable insights related to data analytics and requirements in the healthcare domain. This role involves managing business analytic processes such as data integration and operational reporting while collaborating with stakeholders to implement effective analytic tools.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and manage data and analytic needs for CoxHealth
  • Support business decisions with timely and insightful analysis
  • Create customized dashboards and performance metrics/reports
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement analytic tools
  • Conduct data integration and operational reporting (ad-hoc and analysis)
  • Perform validation checks to ensure accuracy of reports and data
  • Identify opportunities for clinical or financial performance improvement
  • Prepare clear and well-organized project-specific documentation

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field OR 8 years of IT or Compute
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in data analysis on clinical and financial information
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and data extraction tools
  • Experience with BI and analytical tools such as Power BI and Business Objects
  • Working knowledge of complex database design
  • Ability to design, write, and support complex dashboards, queries, and reports
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong project management and interpersonal skills
