Job Description

Overview

The Sr Assembler 1 role at bioMerieux involves performing assembly, refurbishment, subassembly, and testing of electrical and mechanical components to meet quality standards. The position also includes mentoring and training other employees, requiring a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in electromechanical assembly.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in set-up on all stations and benches as assigned.
  • Check documentation for accuracy of identifying information.
  • Perform production tasks per schedule and according to procedures.
  • Document necessary information on DHR forms following Good Documentation Practices.
  • Maintain physical separation of lots using appropriate practices.
  • Clean and organize work area before, during, and after production runs.
  • Help train coworkers in processes, procedures, and machine operation.
  • Assist with end-of-shift or end-of-day shutdown procedures.
  • Process nonconforming product per NCMR instructions.
  • Perform work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Required skills
