Job Description

Overview

The Sr Assembler 1 position at bioMerieux involves performing assembly, refurbishment, and testing of electrical and mechanical components to meet quality standards and production schedules. This role, which requires mentoring experience, supports Instrument Manufacturing and is suitable for candidates with a High School Diploma and 2+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in electromechanical assembly.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in set-up on all stations and benches as assigned
  • Check documentation for correct data forms and identifying information
  • Perform all production per schedule following procedures
  • Document necessary information on the DHR forms according to Good Documentation Practices
  • Maintain physical separation of lots using appropriate practices and equipment
  • Clean and organize work area before, during, and after production runs
  • Help train coworkers in correct processes, procedures, and machine operation
  • Assist with end-of-shift or end-of-day equipment shutdown as necessary
  • Process nonconforming products according to NCMR instructions
  • Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards
  • Complete other assigned duties as necessary

Required skills

  • 2+ years manufacturing experience
