Job Description

Overview

The Sr Assembler 1 position at bioMerieux in Cottleville, Missouri involves performing assembly, refurbishment, and testing of electrical and mechanical components to meet quality standards and production schedules. The role includes providing mentoring to others and requires a high school diploma and over two years of manufacturing experience, preferably in electromechanical assembly.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in set-up on all stations and benches as assigned
  • Check documentation for correctness and completeness
  • Perform all production tasks as scheduled
  • Document necessary information on DHR forms following Good Documentation Practices
  • Maintain physical separation of lots using proper segregation practices
  • Clean and organize work area during and after production runs
  • Train coworkers in correct processes and procedures
  • Assist with equipment shut down at the end of shifts
  • Process nonconforming products according to NCMR instructions
  • Perform work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards
  • Carry out other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Electromechanical assembly experience preferred
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on high-quality work
