Job Description

Overview

The Senior Assembler 1 at bioMerieux will perform assembly, refurbishment, subassembly, and tests of electrical and mechanical components to meet quality standards and production schedules. This role requires mentor training for others and supports Instrument Manufacturing, requiring a High School Diploma or equivalent, along with over two years of manufacturing experience, preferably in electromechanical assembly.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in set-up on all stations and benches as assigned
  • Check documentation to ensure correct data forms are present
  • Perform all production tasks per schedule as described by procedures
  • Document all necessary information on DHR forms following Good Documentation Practices
  • Maintain physical separation of lots using proper practices and equipment
  • Clean and organize work area before, during, and after production runs
  • Train coworkers in correct processes, procedures, and machine operation
  • Assist with end-of-shift or end-of-day shutdown including equipment shut down as necessary
  • Process product designated as nonconforming according to NCMR instructions
  • Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards
  • Execute other duties as assigned

Required skills
