Overview

The Sr. Annuity Compliance Specialist at AAA Life Insurance Company is responsible for conducting suitability and compliance reviews of annuity applications to ensure recommendations meet regulatory requirements and company standards. The role involves collaboration with Sales Agents and Underwriting to validate suitability factors and manage application processing, thereby safeguarding the interests of members.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct independent annuity suitability reviews and partner with agents for approvals.
  • Review and process new and in-force annuity applications for compliance and accuracy.
  • Evaluate policy changes and service requests ensuring timely execution.
  • Manage annuity payment requests with attention to accuracy and member experience.
  • Ensure activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with agents and internal partners to monitor cases.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or related field
  • 6-8 years of experience in annuity processing, life insurance, or financial services operations
  • Experience performing suitability reviews
  • Familiarity with insurance or annuity systems
  • Strong understanding of annuity products and regulatory compliance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication skills with customer service orientation
