(EWS) is currently seeking a SR accountant to support various financial processes, including general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and audit assistanceDuties/Responsibilities:Own key components of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of reconciling items.Support financial reporting by analyzing account activity, researching variances, and preparing schedules for management review.Maintain accurate accounting documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and applicable accounting standards.Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis by compiling and reviewing relevant financial data.Handle other accounting-related projects and responsibilities as assigned.Required Skill/Abilities:Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and accounting systems.Experience with foreign currency accounting and sales tax compliance preferred.Minimum Education and Experience:Bachelors degree in Accounting (CPA preferred).Minimum of five years of professional experience in accounting and general ledger management.
