Overview

Fire Safety and Protection (FSP) is seeking a Sprinkler Service Technician to join their team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of automatic sprinkler systems, ensuring they meet all safety regulations and customer needs. FSP is committed to high-quality service and values employees' contributions, particularly those with military backgrounds.

Key responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications for sprinkler system installation
  • Measure, cut, and install pipes using various fittings and connectors
  • Install valves, alarms, and other components of sprinkler systems
  • Test systems for leaks and ensure proper functionality
  • Perform routine maintenance and replace worn or damaged components
  • Troubleshoot and repair sprinkler systems, providing solutions for complex issues
  • Communicate with customers for project updates and issue resolution
  • Maintain compliance with codes and regulations, ensuring safety protocols are followed
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, including costs and reports

Required skills

  • Experience in installation and maintenance of automatic sprinkler systems
