Overview

As a Sprinkler Inspector at Fire Safety and Protection, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with fire codes and standards. Your role will involve collaboration with building owners, facility managers, and fire departments to ensure effective fire safety solutions are implemented and maintained.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect and test fire sprinkler systems according to relevant codes and standards.
  • Identify deficiencies and recommend repairs or upgrades.
  • Provide documentation of inspection results to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely repairs and upgrades.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable regulations regarding fire sprinkler systems.
  • Keep accurate records of inspection results and maintenance.
  • Educate building personnel on fire sprinkler systems and emergency procedures.
  • Investigate false alarms and develop strategies to minimize them.
  • Stay informed about changes in fire codes and recommend system adaptations.
  • Work with fire departments to coordinate emergency response procedures.
