Overview

Fire Safety and Protection (FSP) is seeking a Sprinkler Inspector in Pensacola, Florida. This role involves inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with fire codes and standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with building owners and facility managers to protect lives and property through effective fire safety solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect and test fire sprinkler systems for compliance with codes and standards
  • Identify deficiencies and recommend repairs or upgrades
  • Provide documentation and reports of inspection results
  • Coordinate with technicians for timely repairs and upgrades
  • Ensure compliance with regulations regarding water pressure and valve operation
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and maintenance
  • Educate stakeholders on fire sprinkler systems and emergency procedures
  • Investigate false alarms and implement reduction strategies
  • Keep updated on changes in fire codes and standards
  • Coordinate emergency response procedures with fire departments
