Overview

Fire Safety and Protection (FSP) is seeking a Sprinkler Fitter to join their team in Norcross, Georgia. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of automatic sprinkler systems, while ensuring high-quality service and compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will contribute to a customer-focused environment and benefit from ongoing training and career growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications for sprinkler systems
  • Measure, cut, and install pipes with fittings and connectors
  • Install valves, alarms, and other sprinkler system components
  • Test systems for leaks and ensure proper functionality
  • Perform routine maintenance and replace damaged components
  • Troubleshoot and repair sprinkler systems, providing solutions to complex problems
  • Communicate with customers and stakeholders about project updates and issues
  • Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed
  • Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment

Required skills

  • Minimum 3 years independent field experience
  • Experience with Fire Protection Systems and components
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to read and understand construction blueprints
  • Problem-solving skills

  • Familiar with OSHA safety practices
