Overview

Fire Safety and Protection is seeking a Sprinkler Fitter to join their team in Norcross, Georgia. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of automatic sprinkler systems, ensuring compliance with all necessary codes and regulations, while delivering high-quality service to clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications for sprinkler system installation.
  • Measure, cut, and install pipes using various fittings and connectors.
  • Install valves, alarms, and components of the sprinkler system.
  • Test systems for leaks and proper functionality.
  • Perform routine maintenance and replace worn or damaged components.
  • Troubleshoot and repair sprinkler systems, providing effective solutions.
  • Communicate with customers regarding project updates and resolutions.
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal codes.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and prepare reports.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

Required skills

  • 3+ years of independent field experience in fire protection systems.
  • Blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with pipe fitting and sprinkler installation.
  • Valid driver's license.
