Overview

The Spiritual Formation Pastor at PaulAnn Church is a leadership position responsible for developing and overseeing adult discipleship and spiritual formation initiatives. This role entails creating a clear pathway for adults to engage in community, deepen their relationship with Jesus, and fulfill the church's mission.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide vision and leadership for adult ministries and discipleship programs
  • Develop and implement strategies for teaching and training adults
  • Oversee ministry to new believers and enhance participation in groups
  • Cast vision for Community Life Groups and manage their structure
  • Plan and implement Equip Classes for adult spiritual growth
  • Lead and support key staff and volunteer leaders
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching
  • Support pastoral duties such as baptisms and pastoral care

Required skills

  • Strong pastoral and relational skills
  • Leadership and team development abilities
  • Understanding of discipleship and small group ministry
  • Organizational and administrative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze ministry strategies
  • Bachelor's Degree or seminary degree preferred
  • 5 years of related ministry experience preferred
  • Pastoral credentials and current driver’s license
