Overview

The Spiritual Formations Pastor at PaulAnn Church is a key leadership role focused on adult discipleship and spiritual formation. This position involves crafting and overseeing a pathway for adults to foster community, deepen their relationship with Jesus, and engage with the church's mission.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide vision and leadership for adult ministries, including community groups and discipleship pathways
  • Develop and implement a strategy for teaching and training adults in faith and community engagement
  • Enhance ministry efforts for new believers and guide their faith formation
  • Administer and oversee the Community Life Groups (CLGs) structure and support leadership
  • Plan and coordinate classes that facilitate spiritual growth and life application
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching for staff and volunteers
  • Support pastoral staff in various church activities like baptisms, weddings, and preaching

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, seminary degree a plus
  • 5 years of related ministry experience preferred
  • Strong pastoral and relational skills
  • Proven leadership and team development abilities
  • Understanding of discipleship and small group ministry
  • Organizational and administrative skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical skills for interpreting ministry strategies
