Key responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing therapy to clients per physician's orders
  • Communicate client progress within the agency
  • Evaluate and treat clients, maintaining documentation of services
  • Formulate effective treatment plans and obtain approval from referring physicians
  • Initiate ordered treatments and communicate progress to physicians
  • Maintain documentation according to regulations
  • Comply with state practice acts and perform additional duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience with neurological disorders in adults and children
  • Valid state license in Speech Pathology
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to function independently
