Overview

Join Home Health of Western Colorado as a Speech Therapist where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others. This role is part of a compassionate team dedicated to providing individualized healthcare services, especially focusing on the geriatric population in a supportive work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing therapy to clients per physician's orders
  • Evaluate and treat clients, communicating effectively with families, physicians, and healthcare team members
  • Maintain documentation of services according to state, federal, and third-party payer regulations
  • Formulate and obtain approval for effective treatment plans from referring physicians
  • Initiate ordered treatments and monitor client's progress
  • Comply with the Speech Language Pathology Practice Act in the state
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Director of Clinical Services

Required skills

  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or equivalent experience
  • Valid license in Speech Pathology
  • Experience with adults/children having neurological disorders
  • Strong communication and clinical competence skills
  • Team collaboration skills
