Overview

L.E. Cox Medical Centers is seeking a Speech Pathologist for the Outpatient Neuro Therapy team in Lake Spring, Missouri. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and communication disorders in patients recovering from neurological injuries within a collaborative and supportive team environment dedicated to patient care and professional growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for various communication-related challenges
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient rehabilitation
  • Maintain effective communication with patients and their families
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and education

Required skills

  • Master's Degree in Speech Pathology/Communicative Disorders and Sciences
  • License of Speech Therapy active in Missouri
  • Clinical expertise in speech therapy
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience in hospital or healthcare settings preferred
