Overview

CoxHealth is seeking a qualified Speech Pathologist to join their team in Monett, Missouri. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders, while developing treatment plans based on individual patient needs and physician recommendations.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in patients
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for issues such as stuttering and delayed language
  • Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, and social workers on patient care
  • Maintain clinical expertise and participate in continuing education

Required skills

  • Graduate of a Speech Pathology Program
  • Missouri License for Speech Therapy
  • BLS Certification (to be obtained within 90 days)
  • Good clinical expertise
  • Strong communication and human relations skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Demonstrated interest in professional growth
